I thought the pin snapped on the hood to my hoopty the other day too - drove all the way to work on the highway with the damn hood bouncing up and down with only the secondary latch holding it down.......damn crapbox!

well in my case there's nothing holding it in place... so no way in hell am i taking the beast out like that... which sucks case the vette and the other two cars aren't what you call "winter car"...
