Corvette crash kills two
AMHERST, N.H. — Two men were killed when their car crashed into five other vehicles and burst into flames on Route 101 Wednesday night.
According to police, Raymond Perreault, 26, of Mont Vernon, and Patrick Kelly, 21, of Amherst, were in a Corvette that was pulled over for speeding shortly before the crash.
When the car took off again, police pursued it for a short time before calling off the chase.
The car then crossed into the westbound lane, striking several other vehicles before bursting into flames, police said. Authorities are still trying to determine which man was driving the Corvette.
Four of the other drivers were unhurt. Kerstin Strand, 35, of Milford, suffered serious injuries.

Oh cr*p -
That is a very dangerous stretch of road - two lane undivided but wide open so people go too fast and pass without judging distance of oncoming cars and the like.
This sounds like the same story from Off Topic where the guys were speeding and took off from the Police Officer, he called in and said he lost them, then a few miles up he saw the accident involving the Corvette runaway's.
I hate to hear stuff like this, but as much as I hate to say it, those guys were idiots and should have taken their lumps before getting killed.
A fine and points may not be nice to have, but I'd rather be busted than dead.

Tragic loss of life for a few $$ and a couple of points.
