The vette was backed into the other day...the drivers side quarter panel is cracked, and the back looks a little *f'd up. The rear side of the car is basically concave, i'll get pics up later on today.

I'm trying to decide if i should get it fixed in detroit or ny...it'd be more convenient to do it in new york while I am here, but I'm not really familiar with any body shops around here, thankfully i havent been in much need before now.

anyone got any suggestions? I live in manhattan. Thanks in advance.

Try Sportscar Painting, 5205 31st Place, Long Island City.....718-937-3939....ask for Vincent. Excellent hi-end shop.....does a lot of work on exotics, Porsches, BMWs, MBs, etc.

Call Gabe at Impressive Body !! He's a C6 owner who takes care of his customers cars like they're his own. When my 05 had the rear and fender damaged by a semi, Gabe not only repaired it but the Machine Silver Metallic matches beautifully. You'll never know it was damaged.
Number is 516 536-1222. You have to see his car, Z-06 panels painted to match his metallic blue factory paint, not to mention the Paxton....Good Guy !!

Regards, Andy

Definitely call Gabe at Impressive. Repaired a door and fender last week on a friends red C5. Came out perfect. He'll do the right thing for you.

Emily,
I've used a great shop in LI 3 times already, and they are awesome. Infact, I just pick up my dad's car from them last evening also.
Mid Island Collision in Rockville Center (It's about 30 mins. from Manhattan. Let me know if you want to go, and I'll go with you)

Haha hey Rich! I ended up walking back from union square, waited for the damn transfer for 15 mins...

That would be a great run I'd like to get it fixed in NYC just cause i don't need the car to get around. Out here, everything is too damn far apart, and she's my daily.
