Seriously, it's a tough thing, Pete. They are little members of your family, with their own personalities. My two died within the last two years. Fortunately, they both died peacefully, from natural causes, and I did not have to make any tough decisions.
No new dogs for me, though.

vet wanted to put her down in march when i went to vegas an spring mountain......1 grand bought her 4 months, she's just one tough **** and I hate to throw in the towel for her unless I know its what she wants...i mean cmon the equivalent of 105 human years and falls down an effin flight of stairs and doesn't yelp or cry at all.....is just scared **** (oh bein close to blind and deaf don't help either) ......
just sucks I like her more than most people, more than the vette etc., ya know where you stand with her, no bull**** like us humans..
