Some pics from the Bear Mtn cruise night and CFNE pre-cruise cruise:
Assembling before the pre-cruise cruise up on Perkins Drive:
Time elapses.
Lots of twisty roads elapse. No way to hold camera and drive. No way.
Crew again at a stop in Cold Spring:
Get back down to Bear Mtn park - here are a few of the interesting cars tonight:
Corvette Poser:
And a bunch of really nice REAL corvettes - here's a nice C3:
A Ford 5.0 stuffed in a Miata (with a T-Bird IRS):
One of a number of HUGE Cadillacs out tonight. I swear, the trunk could hold 7 dead Sopranos....
We saw the General Lee. It's obvious that Daisy really got around (Baby seat in back):
A great example of my first car (bought with my own money) - a Fiat X1/9 Mine looked nowhere that good, but it got me to and from my girlfriend's house and had cool headlights that I could raise and lower independently!
Yes Linda, there were some classic Mustangs:
And a rare "HIGH" performance 'Tang too:
There were 3 Panteras. This one had a beautiful engine bay:
A returning Vet in NJ had this custom bike made:
And there were some cool unconventional sleds with custom bodywork and paint:
And let's not forget the flag that could be seen for miles around (courtesy of some great antique Hook and Ladders):
Many, many thanks to our resident trouble maker Bob (Intrubl), for putting this together!

Great show.
Thanks to Bob (INTRUBL) for setting this up. The cruise before the show was awesome......(sorry Alex, you missed this one, RT.301 and the tunnel on RT.9D and then a stop in the town of Cold Spring) Bear Mtn is such a nice place for a car show, plenty of room to move around and the food and vendors were also very good.
Thanks for the pictures Tom, nice to meet your son. Bring him along to the OCC Run, I think he will enjoy it. (has he ever been arrested? Bring bail money)
I hope we do this every year.

Thank you again Bob (INTRUBL)....we had a great time last night. For those in the area who have not been to Bear Mtn. on a Wednesday evening in the Summer, you're missing out on an AMAZING gathering!

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
