NJ Inspection Question...
Sorry if this is the wrong forum. I'll repost in Tech if it's a problem. However, I have a bad tire pressure sensor. Is the warning it displays in the DIC enough to fail NJ inspection? Thanks...

You will not fail inspection because this is not a problem in the computer (Stored code). Your vehicle will not go on a dyno, They will plug into your vehicle. This sensor does not send a code to the computer. Your sensor is not a safety issue to were the vehicle would fail. I have knowledge and experience in NJ inspections.

Its not a problem, just keep it clear with the reset button. If you want, you can let the "person" who is going to sit in the car that a tire sensor battery is dead and the message sometimes comes up. That is what I did and they had no problems passing the car.
