Fall Migration Observations
First of all, let me echo Greg's thank you to everyone that made it. I hope that it was up the the expections of the veteran cruisers, and that it made a positive impression on the first timers.
Special thanks to:
Bob and Sue (71 roadster) for allowing us to get them "volunteered" to be the command car, keeping the convoy together.
Tony, in the red '72, for being at the center post in case we had to break into two groups, and to watch the back half of the convoy.
Alan and Michelle, in the '70 Stars and Stripes. Once onlookers spied this Vette, activities ceased. and the rest of the caravan stayed at center stage.
My daughter, Kristen who took on the welcome and sign-in duties and acted as my navigator to keep us on course.
The absolute hero of the day was our Goshen firefighter, who, in less than a heartbeat, got us to our unscheduled but most appreciated "pit stop" facility.
From seeing the smiles and listening to the stories form y'all, both at the park and at the Country Creamery, I've come to the conclusion that ENTHUSIASM REALLY IS CONTAGEOUS!
Remember, there are many runs, convoys, and caravans, but ther is only one CORVETTE MIGRATION - and its not official until the "Fireballs" are passed out.
Who knows, maybe next year........?
