mavis tire ????
thanks jimmy
When I brought my Mustang in, I wanted to get oil changed and tires rotated. I asked if I could drive it in, they said no. I said, OK, wasnt too concerned...didnt make a big deal out of it.
When they were done, and I was paying, the worker pulled my car out of the bay and parked it. As Im walking towards the car, I see the rear bumper covered in purple paint. He wound up hitting the car that he parked my car next to pretty hard. He was watching me as I walked out, so in looking back, I figured that he was seeing if I was going to notice. I go back in, the manager apologizes up and down, refunds my money, and sends me on my way. As Im pulling out of the lot, and back on Sunrise Hwy, I see my oil light on. I pull over and check the oil and sure enough, it was bone dry. I go back, now pretty pissed. Again, they were very apologetic and wound up firing the guy on the spot. I said for kicks, double check to make sure the lugs were tight. 3 rims were good, the other was pretty loose. Hence my answer....RUN!!!
I have had very good luck with All County Tires in Lindenhurst. They have the best prices and will let you hang in the back while they are working on the car. Im not familiar with mounting equipment, but I was told that they have the kind of machiene that wont scratch your rims when they are mounting the tires.
Hope that helps!!
