New Lemans Blue Z06 that is. It's a 2003 but has the Z16 stripes which looks kind of 
. Just headers. We will bring it to Etown and see how far away from 11.5 before deciding what if anything to do to it. The 11.5 index is fun cause its fast but you don't need a roll bar and not so fast that you are breaking stuff.
You should be able to take Ed cause the computer will certainly shift faster then him.

I was actually contimplating of ordering an A6 w/3:15's......but didnt feel spending an extra $2,000 and num the sensation of shifting! For Sherm to go from A4 to A6 will be a dream

That is a real Z16 in the foreground, me in the middle and an JJ's EBM in next too me, as you can see it is glitzier, I mean lighter in color.

I'll have to contact the "EL ES TRES" team driver to see if he can run you -- (Ed)....actually, forget it, I'll drive it myself -- couldn't do any worse than him
I managed not to go to the track with the c5 (which was my intention when I bought it). I used to be a track 'hoe before I got the 'vette, and poured $$$$$$ into a mustang to run 11 sec. I swore I won't do that with the 'vette, because it became too much of an obsession. I'm still a recovering trackaholic.
Of late, the itch to get back into it is getting worse, everytime I see the pics here and on ECS.

Well since I'm a track junkie maybe not the best for you to talk to but with not a lot of extra $$$ invested you can run into the 11s in a vette and not break a lotta stuff. They are building an 11.50 class I hope to run in next year at the corvette challenge. No roll bar required. You can pick up some old rims and put some drag radials on and then I am betting just a cam & and a tune and you would be close.
