I think this is ridiculous. If everyone jokes around with everyone else and uses a curse word while doing so, that's no reason to close it. Aren't bars 21 and over anyways. 
Like it was said earlier by nukmeister1, this is kindergarden. "Powertrips" were used in U.S.S.R. up to about 1989, and then, those people got the boot!

Nude pics or something of that nature I can understand, but if everyone jokes around with everyone else and uses a curse word while doing so, that's no reason to close it. Like the kid in the store misbehaving while mom just says "if you don't stop I'm going to..." and never does anything. The kid knows he can get away with it and will continue, to the displeasure of all around.

That's right. If you edit it yourself so that the built in forum dictionary doesn't detect it, that's a no-no. Not sure I like that policy, but that's what they're after here. Spell out all your curse words. Go back and make sure they're ****'d out and fix them if needed.

It is a privilege, not a right to post here, just like your drivers license.
In defense of the mods... Might not agree with them, might not like them, but they are the rules, and the rules are posted. We can either: 1, accept and follow them; 2, voice our opinions and debate, and change them if possible; or 3, decide we don't like them and find somewhere else to play. If the rules are not enforced, there's no use having them, no matter what they are.
