H O L Y ****! I thought to myself the same thing today..I left a light a little too quickly and boiled 1-2.
It helped the track was S T I C K Y...and I just tried my hardest to finesse it off the line. I left the camera on inside the car last week, and again this week(recorded the run) It DEFINITELY likes the extra rpm. :) I had a tiny spin also on my 12.1@116.88 pass. Not too shabby for a WAXER heh.
Thanks JP...that means a LOT coming from you. Ralph...I almost rolled off the chair laughing after reading your reply hehehe...I didn't hack in to anything. Too funny.
Chris, you're right... it's too quiet without John P...He'll have to double His efforts to keep us going through the winter. I'm sure He'd go to ATCO if asked!
JP... if I can get a 1.81 on GSC's, then you should certainly be capable of a 1.71 on them since you have an auto..... remember ,it's more difficult for us 6-speed guys :D

Dave, I'm sure you remember the days (97) when I had a 6 speed Camaro... & if my "Senile" brain remembers correctly my best 60' was around high 1.9x on GSCs with 4.10 rear.
today with the GSCs on the street, it seemed like the road was wet it spun so easily.. If I had to race it with these tires, I'd run with the Traction Control "ON"
You, Mojo, & the rest of you guys who "Row the gears".. its a lot tougher than it looks.. I've gotten spoiled with the Auto, hot converter, and DRs..
But then us "senior" citizens need some kind of handicap... :D
