I've noticed a change in the atmosphere in the NE section over that past few weeks and recently scrolled down to the bottom of the page to see that Mr Mojo is no longer a mod for this section.
So I did some research and didn't like what I found out.
Long time moderators being removed and senior members being perma banned. Things really seem to be changing here
One thing that has been requested in the past and that needs to be changed is the events sections. We need a separate NY section and a separate mid atlantic section.

Rex, what exactly does that mean. I don't follow.

with all due respect to you Rex, concerns & questions like that should be addressed to the admins via PM's.

A quote from REX Ruby on the ZR1 Registry :
"CF is going down hill losing good members and moderators.
The NE section has been taken over by the New Yorkers.
It sure isn't what is was when I joined in 2000."
I'm sorry that some of you guys feel that the NY/CT N. NJ guys are "dominating" this section. All we've ever tried to do is to make alot of fun and exciting events for everyone to participate in but geographically, its very hard for the Northern guys to do events down in Delaware, Maryland South Jersey and West Virginia and vice versa.
As C6 DVL mentioned, its better to bring this up with the mods and admins directly.

Frank's still around. I asked Frank to concentrate his efforts in C4, where we have a shortage of moderating help. As to "senior members being perma banned," it's always been the Forum's practice to ban participants who refused to abide by Forum rules and were openly defiant.
Some believe they are entitled to post what they want, when they want because of the First Amendment. While we celebrate their Constitutional rights, we must note that Corvetteforum is not a public utility. It is a private business which is entitled to set rules and enforce them.
For instance, if someone came into your busines and "exercised their First Amendment rights" to tell your customers to disrupt your business and start spending their money at other businesses, I think you'd invite them to leave. If they didn't, you'd remove them from the premises. That's one of the reasons the First Amendment does not apply in a private business.
