This will be my first time attending Corvettes at Carlisle. I'm looking for some help with lodging. I probably won't be able to get a reservation near the event so if anyone knows where to stay I'd appreciate some help.
Thanks

a group of us stayed in the holiday inn in new cumberland, pa last year . it's about 18 miles out (not a bad trip) but we set up a meet and greet on friday night (with bar) and a supper sat nite (with bar) . all the arrangements for this year is not set up yet, just keep watching this forum for the full details. i'm sure they will be posted shortly

Start with the lodging link on the Carlisle website....the properties listed there usually fill up pretty early with year-to-year repeats, but you can then expand the search on the websites of the various chains to the surroundng towns like Mechanicsburg, Harrisburg, Boiling Springs, even Gettysburg, depending upon the direct you're coming from. But whatever, it's a great event!

Get yourself on a waiting list for any Carlisle hotel. There are many cancellations. It's alot more fun to be in Carlisle than 25 miles away. Some of the best car shows and parties are in the Carlisle area hotel parking lots

Therre are two decent hotels in Shippensburg, which is about 15 miles south of Carlisle right off Route 81. One is a Best Western on the edge of town and the other is called the Shippen Place Hotel right in town. Both are nice. Probably pretty sleepy in the summer as it is a college town but there are places to eat and drink there.

The Hotel was real convenient, the Restaurant was good, the rooms were nice, and it had great parking. Motown put together a nice package too. We really enjoyed it.

Thanks all, I have been in contact with Amanda and looks like we will be heading back to the Holiday Inn. Will certainly be in touch with the Accounting group before hand though

Let us know when to make the reservations with Amanda. Not looking to stay at the Fairfield Inn this year, that's for sure!
