Default ***Official Maryland Thread***

I figured since most of us look in the Northeast forum, why not have a thread dedicated to everyone here in Maryland.

Time is getting close for the vettes to come out of hibernation

Post events, cruises, and places where everyone wants to meet up, and when.

In fact post anything Maryland related.

Good idea. I admit to being jealous when I see the events and cruises that take place in NJ/ NY area. We could borrow some of there ideas and applu them locally. Spring's coming I can feel it

HAHA

Well My car should be firing up tomorrow for the first time in about 5 weeks. I went by Evils house tonight to get some detailing stuff so i'm good to go.

There's always the small Laurel Show on Wednesday nights with the dinner specials at Three Brothers italian there at the show.

Lets start brain storming in this thread for some ideas for the locals.

1. Cruise to Ocean City or other local beach. (day trip)
2. Damons for dinner in Crofton
3. Three Brothers Italian Resteraunt and show in Laurel (Wednesday nights)
4. Mod day at someone's house (my town house is kind of small for this one)
5. BBQ at someones house.
6. Early morning Picture Cruise to main street Annapolis ( get all the vettes lined up by 8 a.m. or so on a Saturday or Sunday morning for some cool morning pic's

Anyways just some ideas lets hear what you guys want to do!

YES!! we finally have a thread good thinking johncbourg

Has anyone been to the(BLVD) Capitol Center shopping center of Friday nights? I went a couple of times right before it started getting cold, there were some nice cars out there and at least a dozen Vettes. Maybe one evening we could all meet up and check it out

Yeah I moved up here from New Orleans (born and raised).

Only thing is that the summers in Louisiana are straight up brutal.

Winters here are not too bad. Hell I lived in CT for 7 yrs.

Good GOD thats was the worst are far as the cold.

Good ideas everyone.
The early morning Annapolis cruise sounds awesome and then we could head south down Rt. 2 to Solomon's Island for lunch on the water and some more pics.
Church of the Holy Donut is always good.
Interested in some late night cruises for parking garage pics
Nice drive down Rt 4
March is upon us, I feel a Spring Break meet brewing

Cap Center would be fun, I have never been up there but an old neighbor of mine used to always try to get me to come up there with him, he said it was a great show.

OK everybody make a list with your order of preference in terms of what you would like to do in March so we can start planning an event.

1. I like the idea of the morning picture and then heading down to Solomons for some shots and maybe lunch or a brunch kind of a thing.

2. CapCenter Cruise in

3. Mod/Maintinance day

Those are my top three for now.

Awesome everybody start getting your cars ready again

That would be a great start to the season.

OK who has room enough for a few cars.

I have a ton of tools and a two car garage, and decent parking but it is a town house so we could'nt make a rediculous amount of noise LOL.

Rick Rossi needs tools, who else has some room?

I live in a new development, my neighbors are really cool, infact there's a couple of C5 owners that live near me. I have a 2 car garage and a decent size drive way. So its safe to say mod day at rick's house, if everyone is fine with that

Now don't forget the occasional friday night Capital Raceway cruise!!!! Also once it gets warmer out on Monday's there is Glory Day's in Bowie, and on Thursday's there is the Knights of Columbus in Edgewater.

Andy I am up for a brunch run to Rod -n-Reel down in Chesapeake beach.

Also a mod day would probably be best suited at Neils house in his 32x40 man room (a.k.a Garage).

I would also like to schedule a Corvette Cookout at some point!! This is so the ladies don't feel left out....

Also my cousin is manager at Damon's and if I get a heads up head count, of when we wanted to go and how many, I might be able to get us some VIP seating. Or at least call a head and put our name in!!!!
