NJ Private Inspection Shops

Anybody know of some good ones that'll pass tinted cars?

Close to Bridgewater or Summit would be extra nice

Did mine I do not have tinted windows but I do have some other things like black cherry led lights. Call them and see.

I took my car to Livingston Tire. They had a $49.50 inspection special with their coupon. They were really nice, and Mike, one of the guys there is a Chevy man.

Is Al still working there? I knew all those guys many years ago, they were always real nice.

Good luck finding one to pass you. The shops face huge fines and/or suspension of their inspection license if caught. The state regularly sends out teams of "sting" cars to test the shops. I will admit it's unlikely that NJ is springing for Corvette sting cars, but you never know. I know a shop who did get caught for passing a tinted window car, but the car owner bailed him out by signing an affidavit stating the tint was put on the following day.
