Looking for r12 freon.

Looking for some r12 or for a shop in North Jersey that still works with r12.

try advance auto parts if in you area... I know last year i got some here in delaware but was in a 15 lbs container..

Don't you have to be certified to buy R12? I thought you had to and could take a test . Get the cert and then have the ability to buy R12?

I bought a few cans off Ebay last summer for a very fair price.
Some guys require a letter saying you will resell it to get around the issue of being certified to buy it.

I was of the opinion R12 was old school and illegal and everything needed to be converted over to R134...

maybe its a NY only deal?

Why don't you convert it to R134a? It's pretty easy, buy the conversion high & low side fittings(at any auto parts store), evacuate the system and recharge it with 134a.

BTW, you cannot buy R12 in NJ without a license.
