Default Northeast CF Restaurant Guide

OK here's the deal. In order to provide fellow NE CF members with some useful information. I've started the unofficial-official Northeast CF Restaurant Guide. I started this basically to inform fellow NECF members where or where not to eat while cruising. Rating system is simple: Positive experience will be recorded on a scale of 1-5 , negative experience will be recorded on a scale of 1-5 . Additional comments or photos are welcome.

The first entry is

Shiro Japenese Steak House and Sushi Bar
Location: Festival shopping center, Mays Landing, NJ
Time of Day: 4:00 PM
Taste and quality:
Value:
Service:

Comments:

The staff enjoyed a family style meal while JPM and myself waited for our food to be served. We each recieved our appetizers separately. Service wasn't really bad, it was non existant. The food wasn't too expensive but the portions were small, and the taste was, blah. We should have known better when the apparent manager walked in with a McDonald's bag in her hand. At that point we knew we were in for a disappointment.

Bon appetit

I would have to say simply, This was the worst meal I have had in a long time!
I cant say every "Shiro" has staff problems but this was horrible!
My app arrived as Rtagz sat there for 20 mins and watched me eat.
Then his app arrived and he ate as I watched the manager walk in with a Gaggle of Mcdonalds bags and then had the joy of watching an entire motor vehicle stop, courtesy of Hamilton Twp's Finest.

We then both waited another 45 mins for our meals while we watched the entire staff sitting at a nearby table eating dinner.

When we finally did receive our meals we had the pleasant sight of seeing the chef run from the kitchen to the bathroom from which he didnt return for 15 mins.

The meal I received looked exactly like the squishy fish post "GeorgeZ" wrote about and there was some sort of breaded sea urchant on my plate that I dont even remember ordering.

My review is this
Taste and quality:
Value:
Service:

Conclusion:
We should have went to NINO's and had Pizza!

to be a better gauge on the places, I would ask that the time of the meal be posted.

I have been to places that lunch blew away dinner

You missed the exhaust install for that, our pizza was better than what you and Rob experienced.

We just ate at Uncle Jacks Steakhouse after the auto show.
440 9th ave & 34 st, NY, NY

Every thing was great, I ate so much I gained back all the weight I lost.
