A big thank you to Ed (Pipedreams, Nakidparts.com) for going above and beyond the call of duty. I ordered a complete set of painted engine caps from him and was having trouble with the fitment of one of the caps. Rather than brushing me off or telling me to send them back he personally came out to my place of business to make sure that they fit properly and that I was happy. That is what I call excellent customer service and a commitment to excellence! He even gave me a couple of the new CF Decals for free, which look absolutely amazing. They are just subtle enough to look like they came from the factory those in the know will know their meaning!!! Again thank you Ed it was a pleasure meeting you.
Thanks! Looks like its time for a chrome alternator now.

So Spencer , honestly , do you miss being able to drop the top - I convinced myself I was going to get a Z next untill I drove topless today ... Im so confused !!

Ask me in a couple of weeks as the weather gets warmer. I'm sure that I will suffer from droptop withdrawals. I am trying to convince myself that the sun is dangerous and overexposure should be avoided at all cost, however it is not working too well right now. Currently all I have is the awesome feeling you get from hitting the go pedal on the Z.
I think they make a kit to convert a hard top to a removable top like in a coupe. I'm not sure I'd want to take a sawzall to my car though. Those covers look real nice though. Subtle, but very sharp.
I ordered a chrome breather cap from him, he sent it over within a couple of days, I still have to take pics of it and post them up. He sells some great, quality products.

Its all in your head ....
Do you feel like its as fast as the Vert was ?? That one was putting out alot more power if I recall ...

Make no mistake The Z is far superior in every way and a technoligical marvel. Remember my vert was a '99 and closing in on a decade old. Also the vert never trapped above 115mph in the quarter mile and I expect that the Z could do 125+ with its eyes closed, especially with the Vette Drs. cam package. I bought an Firebird Formula Convertible for days like today when I need a top down fix.

- How could it not have trapped over 115 ? My car is making way less power than the vert was ( about 550 Rwhp ) and it trapped 125 last trip to the track .

How "bout them Rangers!!! Yes the gathering begins April 1, weather permitting though the gatherings have been light so far due to the weather.
