Welcome to the wild and wonderful world of Corvettes. May I suggest you post this same thread in the Canadian Section? Being a frequent visitor to Fort Drum (when it was "only" Camp Drum ) I know just how close you are to the Canadian border. I'm sure you'll get to hook up with a few other enthusiasts nearby.
Good luck with the restoration and keep us posted of the progress.

Welcome to the CFNE.
Down to Syracuse??? Man, you don't get much farther North than that without speaking French. EH?
Like NYCHASM suggested in post#4, from the posts we've seen in here you have many potential Vette friends right around your neck of the woods, But I'd hurry up before it gets cold again.
i have no idea how to post in different sections... i didnt even find this section on my own, someone posted it in a thread.. how do i find different sections?
