You can say that again Steve!! These 2 (Spring and Fall Skylines) cruises along with the Wellsboro,Pa Pennsylvania Grand Canyon cruise are must do events for the Wife and me. GM made the Corvette and the Virginia Department of Transportation shows great pride and $$$ in the road system, But I have to give credit to God for doing such a great job on making Virginia and the surrounding states.
A lot of the credit for this wonderful (even in the rain!) event goes to the Shenandoah Valley Corvette Club and the people behind the scenes doing all the work. This Northeast member says "The Southeast Section of the CF Rocks!"

We could not agree more Ed. This has now become a must for us every year if nothing more than to spend time with the great people we met...
We are looking forward to our first Fall Skyline and the PA Grand Canyon run too
I had a great time. Sorry Lori that you missed out on Sat., hope all is well. Great meeting you and Wayne. Its people like you 2 that make it so much fun. Hope to see you guys soon.
Ol'55 (the hubby) and I already have our reservations at the Ramada for the Fall Skyline Drive. I would suggest that everyone get their reservations early as Fall Foliage tours eat up all the hotel space that time of the year. I am ready for more "golf bowling" and am definitely getting in that heated pool next time!

One thing I forgot to mention was that to our surprise, the Quality Inn was in the process of being renovated while we were there. Our rooms were brand new from the carpet to the linens to the furniture, beds, etc. Each room had a fridge and microwave, coffee maker, TV, hair dryer, new tiles in the bathroom, wide bathtub curtain rods, etc. We paid $71.00 total for the room, including tax. So what's the best part you ask? Not having to use the porta-john in the morning right before the cruise departs... Plus, they let us use their meeting room for free for our meet and greet. The car wash is about half a mile from there as well. Just a thought... (I'll see if we can block rooms now...)
