Default Garage approved!

I had to get approval by my local planning commission and then the board of commissioners to build my new garage because I wanted larger than the allowed size of 24 X 24. Got approved for 30 X 24. Construction starts right after the holidays. I'll post for help with framing when ready late Jan :yesnod:

Now that is a nice size garage. Wish I had the room to build one that big
If I can give a suggestion beg, borrow, Steal, or rent a nail gun. I helped frame my brother in laws garage about the same size. What a nice tool. You can shoot a lot of nails with little fatigue and toe nailing is a breeze. I would not frame anything without one anymore. No I don't have one yet.

It looks like Mike has a place to work on his car now

Niiiiice... how many cars does a garage of that size fit? You might have to buy a few more C4 just to use that space? That sounds like a plan to me :yesnod:

I'm curious about the cost... I've gotten a quote from a construction company that specializes in garage construction but it was big $$$. You know, I have to have the one that parks three cars, has a loft, fully insulated, fully dry walled. I'm not asking for much! Actually, like yourself, I'm probably gonna end up doing a fair amount myself. Does anybody know any reputable builders close to King of Prussia, Pa.?? Any ref's greatly appreciated!

In the spring were going to build a bigger garage also. 28x28 with storage on top 1/2 and the other side open so I can use a backyard buddy type lift. Can't wait!!!

Good going Rex. The only problem I see is that it is not big enough. We put up a 32 X 48 several years ago and it is full. You will be surprised how many things you neec to store once you have the room. I will keep watching your progress and perhaps if the weather and my schedule work out right I can give you a hand. No! I am not going to get a Corvette tatoo. There has to be some distinction between Corvette owners and HOGS.

I hear you about the size but I am limited and pushed things with my township with 30 X 24. Any and all help will be welcomed and appreciated! As far as the tattoos why the heck not, at least that's what I figure 'cause I already have several:D
