My best friend has been missing for 12 hours (just found out) and he was driving his 2002 mag red conv vette. Has anybody seen or heard anything about a vette crash today in CT? Any news is appreciated. Thanks

Have you guys contacted the local and State Police? If there was a reported accident, they're the ones to contact.
Did the family report him as missing? Each police department has their own rules about which circumstances must exist for them to take a missing persons report and an adult, in good health, with no hint of suspicious circumstanes, doesn't usually qualify initially.
Unfortunately, while my buddy eventually (4 a.m.) came home, totally drunk, he had lied to his wife about where he was all day (not at work like he claimed) and then refused to say where he went all night. His only statement was along the lines of "I needed some ME time, and it is none of your business".
His stupidity caused a lot of his friends and family to loose sleep, call the authorities, check hospitals etc. It was a dumb stunt that has completely backfired on him now.
He still has not called us to say he is sorry for causing my wife and I to be awake all night. My wife was interviewing for a new job this morning too!
Hate to play devil's advocate here, but if I disappear for a day alone and return at 4AM (not even 24 hours), the people I know better not freak out. I guess I don't see the big deal. Everyone needs to get away now and then.
I know someone that made a habit of "ME TIME".
His friends and family threw him and his wife a big 25th anniversary party.
The writing on the cake said Happy 25th to her, and below it it said Happy 10th to him.
The logic was that she was married to him for 25 years, but he was only around for about 10 of them.
Luckily his wife is a good sport.
