Default Charity Dragon Run

I've posted this just about everywhere on the board and some of my fellow C5 owners said I should post it in here so here goes.
The date is now set for our first Charity Dragon Run. We will be cruising on July the 19th. The trip will start in Franklin, NC at the K-Mart/Ingles shopping center and head up to Robbinsville, NC. We will then cruise on the Cherohla Skyway, stop for lunch, head into Telico Plains, TN and back to HWY 129, the ledgendary "Dragon". We will make one pace lap through the dragon and then everyone will be free to travel back through at there own speed but we would like to remind everyone to be safe and that the road is always heavily watched by police. After that we will head back down on Hwy 28 "The HellBender" back into Franklin. The total trip should be about 230 miles. Please pack a lunch for the stop up on the Cherohla Skyway. We will be selling cold drinks and homemade desserts to raise money for JDRF during the stop. You will also need to come with a full tank of gas. There will be one stop for gas at the halfway point. If for some reason someone can't make it around 120 miles on a tank let me know and I can make special arrangements for them. There will be a fifteen dollar minimum donation to participate. With this fee you will recieve a grab bag of free goodies. If you are planning on attending if you can email me at aapcarshow@yahoo.com ,PM me on here, or send me a message on myspace so I can get an idea of how many people are coming. The run is open to most any type of vechicle. Corvettes, Camaros, Mustangs as long as its a sports car, muscle car, or classic bring it on! Turn by turn directions will be up on the website and will be handed out the day of the run along with maps. There will also be event t-shirts for sale but I will be pre selling them via paypal payment to be picked up the day of the show or if someone wants a shirt I can ship it to them if they can't make the show. All the profit from the shirts will go to JDRF as well as all the entry fee money and donations.
Check out the following for more info on the run and pictures from my trip to the Dragon to plan out the route. Enjoy and hope to see you all there!
