Absolutely will be there.....Bear Mtn is a great location & the turn out is always HUGE.....antiques, classics, rods, exotics, 2-wheelers & of course, many many 'Vettes of all generations! Bring a lawn chair, a picnic dinner & enjoy......

They aren't fond of burnouts, or people breaking the sound barrier in the park, but I've gone up there many times with no front plate, and have had no problems.
There is a strong presence, but they mostly seem concerned with the flow of traffic, and keeping people moving to the right places.
Not in my experience.....but depending upon how you get there, do be careful on 7 Lakes Drive thru Harriman Park or the Garden State Pkway. Speed limits are STRICTLY enforced, especially 7 Lakes Drive (40 MPH)

Also not a good idea after dark, not with Bambi running around in the park without headlights or a horn.
______________
Two weeks ago, coming home from Bear Mountain after dark, I was tempted to pass a couple of people who were traveling a bit too leisurely for me on Seven Lakes Dr.
Even though I was in a proper passing zone (i.e. solid and dashed lines), I really didn't have a clear line of sight. So, I just hung back, and decided not to pass.
Within 100 yards or so, there was a cyclist riding in the oncoming lane. No lights, no reflectors, nothing!!
If I had decided to pass, that fellow would have been a hood ornament at least, and probably would have needed an ambulance ride.

True.. they do charge you $40 a season in order to get a pass that enables you to park on the grass in the show, however there is more then enough ample parking on either side of the show and the lots are pretty vette/specialty car friendly.
If you are only coming up for the night.. your best bet is yes.. park in the lot and walk in. It only pays to pay the fee if you are going to come every week

Not a problem at all.....true, if you want to park on the display field the club charges a $40 fee for the entire season (with a windshield placard), but admission for the spectator parking areas which are immediately adjacent to the display field is only $2.00!
