High Point Crash
Rescuing god’s creatures from certain death, so they could live their lives to the fullest –
(If you’ve seen these vids before you can skip them)
My first save was a squirrel (ok, I wasn’t in the car when I found him, but I drove my car over there) – For those that haven’t seen the video, you can view it here:

Next was this large turtle that was trying to cross the road –

Then I had to break up a horrible fight between two deer –

Most recently, I had to rescue yet another turtle from becoming road pizza – (this is a Power Point file that my friend Jay did since he took the pics)

So I guess I've graduated from animals to humans -
Which brings us to today – I take the Lambo out, and meet up with some Porsche guys – We head up to Sussex County to hit some nice roads. So I’m leading the way, and I head up the mountain at High Point State Park, come around a bend, and I see a Harley upside down, and someone laying on the side of the road. I immediately pull over. I am essentially the first on the scene, and as I pull out my cell phone to call 911, a woman pulls up and says she’s on the phone already with 911, but she doesn’t know where she is – So I give her the proper info, and she relays it to the operator.
I go up to the accident scene, and I see an older gentleman lying in the rocks. I ask him some basic info “Do you know what day it is?” “What’s your name?” etc…He did know it was Sunday, but didn’t know what year it was. He just kept saying, “I really just want to get on my bike and continue on my way.”
I inform him that is not going to happen. As he’s trying to get up, I see his cell phone lying beneath him. I pick it up and try finding some emergency contacts. (People, if you’re reading this, and you have not ‘ICE’d your cell phone, please do so now – Put the person you want emergency personnel to call under “ICE” on your phone – ICE = In Case of Emergency). Needless to say he didn’t ICE his phone, so I called some random people in his phone, but no one answered.
A few other people show up that say they were EMT’s or something, and a few minutes later the Park Rangers show up, followed by the NJ State Police. Since they had the situation under control, I give his phone to the police, and let them take over.
He may have bumped his head, but I can say with certainty, if he had a jacket on, ANY type, leather, textile, mesh, whatever – He would have had very, very minor injuries. His road rash looked pretty bad, and it was on both arms, his back, and side. People wear your gear, and ride safe!
Here are a few pics I took with my phone.

For you Harley guys out there (and rice rockets): Dress for the crash and not the ride. Suck it up if it's too hot outside, take the jacket liner out, unzip the cooling vents, etc. More importantly though, BUY A REAL HELMET! The guy in these pictures was lucky his brains or face wasn't road pizza!

But seriously, good job.

Also, I just updated my phone to have an ICE contact.
