To be honest, it probably would be too much for such a small child. You'd have to put her in a stroller, because everything is so spread out, and she would probably get bored pretty fast.
Take her, even if it's for one hour it's well worth it. She may surprise you...buy her some cotton candy or the big choc chip cookies. Cater to her and try to get her involved by taking pictures of her there etc...
There are things for children to do. There's a building just for kids. They can interact with the clown, make a stuffed bear, get a tattoo, and other things. I know this because my young grandchildren were there for the GM Nationals. They have the same activities for the Corvettes at Carlisle show. Check the web site: www.carsatcarlisle.com

Not sure how far your trip is to get there but its a long day.. even for the adult kids But seriously.. if you do bring her two key things to remember are you will need a stroller, or plan on carrying her, and it gets hot. So make sure you have sunscreen and water for her. Like someone mentioned there is a womens and childrens oasis area so...
If you end up taking her and get overwhelmed.. give a shout, Ill babysit for a small fee
It probably depends on her. My now 11 year old daughter braved many a day long car show with me when she was that age. In fact, I think she would love it if my wife couldn't make it and she took her place. My 8 year old son, as much as he loves cars, is a little more antsy and couldn't handle that many hours.
Both eagerly braved long hot marathon sessions at Disney, Universal, Seaworld and Busch Gardens when they were at that age though.
The trick to the long day trips was always the stroller. It has to be confortable for them and easy to push. We always made sure we had the kind with the little sun shade. Plus, the stroller always made carrying the little goodies you pick up along the way a lot easier.
I would go for it if I were you. You could always leave if the going gets rough.
Took my kids in the past ot other events similar who are 3 1/2 boy and 2 1/4 girl and you have to have them invovled which I must say is alot of work but fun overall. I was able to see alot but it is very tiring!! Would have gone this year but going to Lavalette NJ (OBII) this coming week (23rd -30th) with the family!

I have a 3yo daughter and there is no way I'd consider taking her. WAY to long of a day. Too much to do. Long lines, very crowded, etc.
Not the sort of thing you want to do after driving 3hrs to get there, plus another hr or so to park. The activities at Carlisle are not that friendly for toddlers. If she were 6-8, I'd say go for it, but 3 is just too young.
I had the same decision to make this year, and I opted to stay home. It was a hard one to make, since I really wanted to go, but it's the right one.

Yeah, I am leaning that way as well....It does stink as I really want to go, but don't feel like driving 2 1/2 hours there and back in one day by myself......Tony
