Cool, I hope there are NO trophy marathon's those dates. Would really stink to wait 6hrs and only get two passes in like last season. :D

Seriously though, that will not be a problem this year.
Our voices have been heard.
However, the PM events will have some other event in the AM so we can race two sessions. Some of the prior sessions may be Trophy Marathon. You have to admit, the TM concept is a good one.

Re: 2002 Corvette Challenge dates ..... (Red98C5)
Guys this is the only info we have as of this date, and Dennis and I thought it was important to atleast give you the little info we have.
Like Dennis said more dates will be added and these dates are not set stone.
Hopefully this may help some of you.
Thanks for your patience,
John
Unfortunately it looks like we have a Corvette Challenge event on May 25th, the weekend of the Corvette Forum cruise in :(.
Bill we saw that in the begining and knew it woyuld be a problem for some, especially since this year there will be NO VACATION POINTS, and we are working on an added bonus for those that make all the races.
Sorry that the dates we got and I'm not going to turn it down for a small handfull of people that may go to BG.

Mark, we did everything we could not to have our race on TM days but there are only so many open dates on E-towns schedule. However don't be surprise if some of the dates added to this schedule are during TM to give us our 11 races. We are looming at a different format during those races. More on this later.

Re: 2002 Corvette Challenge dates ..... (Red98C5)
Thank you Dennis for all you hard work in getting this deal done.
As you can see by this post we will have 10 races this year with the first 8 being points races. This is being done so hopefully we will have the points jackets by our last race.
As a series we have come of age. We are now being considered/treated the same the other points racing series at E-town ie: Real Street, Import, Heavy, ect. This is a great accomplishment and I want to thank all the racers who have made this possible.
We as Corvette owners are the first single CAR MODEL to have a legitmate points racing series at E-town.
Not the f-body or Mustang have this type of series.
Guys this is BIG. REAL BIG!!!!!!!!
Please continue to check the forum and our web site for future updates and how and when to sign up for this points series.
Again thanks to everyone and great job Dennis.
