I'm stuck out here working on the west coast, waiting for parts to show up so I can install them and train the customers how to use them...anybody know of any good place to go around Seattle? I'm about an hour north in a little town called Mukilteo. Last week wasn't too bad, I was in N. Carolina and my contact at the company was actually a forum member with a super-clean '98 Quicksilver coupe. Out here there has been nothing but rain, my rental car is a POS Chrysler Concorde :U and there is no night life AT ALL unless I drive an hour to Seattle and attempt to try driving back to my hotel drunk which probably wouldn't be a good idea considering I don't know any cops out here :nonod: At least the customers out here gave me a temporary office to use while I'm here with a computer with internet access.....
I actually had that thought...but the dragstrips that are close-by are closed  and it's raining & snowing here....Luckily I'm supposed to leave tomorrow, provided the morons at my company headquarters actually built the components and circuit boards I requested according to the drawings I made & e-mailed over on Monday...I ned to find a new job, traveling is fine once in a while but if I follow the schedule they want me to I won't see home (or the Vettes) for about a month!
Mike, thanks for the suggestion to look in OT...now I at least have somewhere to go tonight, and got a great idea for my next couple trips...TEST DRIVE FEST at every car dealer I can find!
I know what you are going through. I spent several months in Oak Harbor on whidbey several years ago. I had to do the ferry ride if I wanted to go to town and like you said there wasn't that much to do even then. Have you been to Evert and seen the aircraft assembly plant there? should be close to you and you can kill a few hours. :seeya
