My C6 was a very early car, 05 6 speed, that I bought new. The battery would run dead in as little as 2 days of sitting. After 5 trips to 3 dealers, 3 new batteries and computer changes, the fuel sender went haywire. They couldn't fix that either. I couldn't even put gas in it. Too much back pressure. The clutch was bad. GM agreed it was a lemon and bought it back. I'm not bashing the C6. Alot of people have had great luck with them. But a C5 is as new as I will go.

Nice garage and Corvette collection. I also had a 1965, and a 1968 big block, back in their day. I wish I had kept them.

Good job and thanks for sharing. I've also had a love affair with the '65 vette. Fortunately, I was able to buy one before they got out of reach.
