Chris, I don't think you have anything to apologize for, your response was completely warrented. If God forbid I wrecked my car, and someone found it necessary to joke about or rub in my face, I would have a serious problem with it.
Robetti- when you wrap your car around a tree because you were too busy watching a movie on your DVD player, we will all make sure to rub it in your face for the next 6 months.
I think it is just common sense to know that it's upsetting enough to have wrecked your car that you don't need to take cheap shots about it for the next half a year. Give me a f'n break :rolleyes:

Maturity has nothing to do with driving ability...I never said that chris wasn't a good driver. But anyone who thinks they everything about driving is full of it...there are aspects to driving that can only be learned though experience and time.

Chris and I are friends, notice i didn't bring this post up to say Hey everyone dont forget about december 2nd... The circumstances between the two accidents were soo similar i brought it up as a refernce. It happened people make mistakes, you gotta learn from them you cant pretend like they never happened. I didn't bring it up to rip on chris i brought it up to compare to vette kids accident.

Well put RobF, I tried to say that you were not ripping into Chris. I guess just some people like to be argumentive and make MOUNTAINS out of MOLE HILLS.

 

No, when you put in the topic, ANOTHER DNGRZONE, that is singling Chris out... and backpeddling that fact now is pretty stupid. If you didn't intend to single him out, you would not have put his name in the subject. Robetti- he probably drives just as well as you do or better, this doesn't say anything about his driving ability, just that he was really unfortunate that day.
And it's not mountains out of molehills Mark, you know you wouldn't tolerate anyone constantly rubbing your nose in it if God forbid you wrecked your baby (and I think I would be :cry too if you did that). And I would say the same thing in your defense if someone did it to you, or Robetti, or Mojo or anyone. I just think it is cruel, especially because Chris seems to be someone that tends to roll with the punches and not speak up to defend himself all of the time.
Yeah you can buy another car, but you bought your car because you liked it in the first place, so it's not like you don't feel a tremendous sense of loss when a car like that is wrecked. Regardless if you can just go out and buy another one, that isn't the point.
And Robetti, I am flattered that you think I am deserving of a page full of "not so nice" words, but maybe you should take some of that time in learning about your car. I mean, since you do own a C5 and all, and since you are such a superior driver and have all of this driving experience, enough to judge someone else... I mean, you should at least know what kind of intake comes on your car :lol:

The point here is, I don't find it necessary to make a big joke out of someone wrecking their vehicle. He made a mistake, it's in the past... give him a break already. It could have happened to anyone one here, and if and when it does, I really hope no one makes them feel worse about it than they already do.

I see your point Erin, OK maybe he should have never said another Dangerzone, but I don't think he did it to rub it into Chris's face. I did have to disagree with Rob about age having anything do to with anything. Ok yeah, maybe when your younger you do dumber things and take bigger risks, but it can happen to anybody. Heck, some guy on forum just totalled out his ride, again I don't think it had anything to do with maturity. Just bad luck!!! But then again there are skills that can be learned at any age.
I just wish both you and RobF would stop being so hard on eachother. Why is it when we get together you guys hang out like best buddies, then online you guys are tooth and nail. Thats because Robetti and I make a point of keeping things going on here :lol:
We chat on IMs and everything, we have a love/hate relationship... we argue on here to amuse ourselves... we get along face to face because Robetti won't start with me. When we were going back and forth the last time, Robetti hosted the photoshopped pic of him and Bliss as Dr Evil and Minime, for me to post and make fun of Robetti :lol: And you have to admit, it's funny sometimes. BUT in this case, Robetti needs to leave well enough alone, this is NOT something to joke about or rehash constantly :nono:

 

I argue with her for more of the principle of arguing with her...I have nothing against her, she's a good person, but i got sick of everyone kissing her butt whenever she says anything...No matter what she said everyone agreed...Give me a break.
