Got out today!
Well, I decided not to wait until spring for a drive. Took the vert out today for a messy ride which was most enjoyable. (did have to wash her down well afterwords...) Man, it's been way too long. Almost a month. Needed that fix. Dave
I did the same! It was already a filthy mess from the last snow storm (don't ask ) so I just drove the HELL out of it today, came home, washed and waxed it and tucked it away in the garage. We're both happy girls now

I've been driving mine all through the storms the last month. When I took it to the carwash, my wheels were completely white. Looked like powdercoat.
I'm jealous. There is so much sand on the street in front of my house that I'd probably sandblast my quarter panels if I drove down the block. All the streets up in this end of the Village I live in are like that. I've been here for fourteen years and I don't ever remember it being this bad.

Same here, Dave....it was 54 in Chester County PA today....what a 'tease'...!!
I'm going out in a little bit, been three weeks and it's time to charge the battery and get those fluids moving. A good cleaning is in order later on. See you out there .

Here in my part if Ct., they aren't using sand on the U.S. Highways. Just salt. (Apparently, the sand messes up the storm drains.) Upside: no sandblast effect. Downside: way more time with the hose. Dave
this is the first in four winters that I didn't have some project goin on, so I have only have not driven it the couple weekends that we had real sloppy weather.
Went to New Hope right after New Years to see the lights and to my sons hockey playoffs the last two weekends. up to Bethlehem last Thursday night, took it to work yesterday (Friday traffic on 422 in not too bad) and out for errands today. If it was not stop and go traffic to and from work, I would drive it to work more often.

Amen to that... Heading to Walmart for dog food this afternoon. If the temps stay down she shouldn't get too dirty. About all the salt residue has blown off the roads thanks to the truckers. Hoping that February will allow more time in the 'vette as well. Dave
the sand mut be a long island thing because in babylon we have about an inch on the streets like they have to use it up before it goes bad , all the side streets are a mess, i wanted to go for a ride but when i took the truck for breakfaest i changed my mind ,but i did talk to a guy with a 34ford pickup thats his daily driver
