Dont get left @ the lites
The new out put shaft we made for our car is done.This is the shaft thats most common to break when hole shotting. its made from a modified 4340 steel know as 300m Will be taken orders as the 6 we made are going fast The cost is 399.95 Have some piece of mind next time you go racing.

We are doing a ATI kit as we speak.
On a 02 z06 When we are done will have pricing.

Carmen is the half shaft breaking related to the amount of power on launch or continued repetitive launches.
Just wondering if it needs to move up on my priority list.

In all seriousness, I've seen a stock Z06 snap that shaft.
I also believe Chris' old motor even busted one.

Chris, broke it with a heads/cam car making almost 400 rhp at the time.
I am probably only making 310 rwhp now but I will find out as soon as our new sponsor gets his dyno:)

My understanding is too much horsepower at once shocking the rear. Chris broke his he first day out with his H/C package.

You are right too much rpm with a good clutch and good tires that shaft will break every time will see a lot more break this year.

We have the shaft in a few cars but have not benn able to go to the strip.
Winter!! The shafts are made of the best metal you can make them out of.
What else can you do. If they dont hold up. Back to the drawing board.
Breathless performance has tested them im sure he used the same metal.
As far as install i would not just taks apart my rear end to install untill i Snap The one thats in there. Parts and install for forum members 800.00
If you have the fever we have the cure.

I stopped by the shop yesterday and snapped a few pics:
Here is a picture of the new shaft on the left and the "sheered off" stock shaft on the right. Pretty Nasty!
Here they are side by side:
You can see the new Vette Doctor input shaft is much think right where they traditionaly snap.
