Harry I want to publicly Thank You for an truly memorable buying experience way back in 2004. You were always a gentleman whenever I would visit the showroom, even while I would just be window shopping. When I was ready to purchase my first brand new Corvette, there was only one place to go and one person to deal with. Kerbeck and Harry!
And every time I would visit after my purchase I would hear it from my wife, "Stay away from Harry, he's a drug dealer", at least to me he was, the drug of the Corvette!
Good Luck in all of your future adventures Harry. Perhaps you will surface on the Aveo Forum.
As stated above don't know weather to feel good or bad. But I will miss seeing you at the Toys for Tots run. Goodluck and good wishes fro you and your family.
Quick story...rolled into Kerbeck's on a late Thursday afternoon. Walked over to a spot where I saw a few Cyber Gray convertibles. Found one I liked (Z-51, NPP, A6, etc.) and a young man who id'd himself as Harry walked over. About one minute later he handed me a set of keys and told me to take it for a drive. In the meantime they inspected my C5. When I returned he instantly gave me my keys...no old "keep the keys" trick...and we discussed numbers. We were far apart and as I had a dinner party to attend we shook hands and I left. No hard feelings! Got a call later that evening and Harry asked me "what do we need to do to make this deal?" I quoted a figure...he said he was off the next day but his GM would get back to me. Late the next afternoon I got a call as I was headed to NYC and about 30 miles north on the GSP. Gentleman apologized for the delayed call and said we had a deal if I could go "250 more." I said "is that dollars or a monthly payment;" he said "dollars." Made a swift u-turn and was the proud owner of a 2009 a couple hours later.
Great job by Harry and all involved though they did send me on the road with less than a full tank!!
Wow this is very sad news!!! Harry was my first corvette purchase salesman back in October 2007. Took a bus from Long island to atlantic city where harry picked me up from a local casino and took me over to Kerbeck where I had a great time checking out the "Kerbeck Collection" and then drove back to Long Island in my new AO Z06. He is a great guy. Hey Harry if you get back into car Vette sales let me know, I'd definitely buy from you at a different dealership!!!
On the top ten things I'll miss...Saying and a Keychain!!! Is high up there Toys for Tots was a great part of my Kerbeck life I'll never forget it!
