Default Tonight on the GSP

While returning home from dropping my daughter back at school,on mile marker 44.7 i saw a c6 vette down the embankment,it was snowing like crazy.very poor visability,Leo was already there.I had to just keep on going it was bumper to bumper.Felt bad for the guy,he was in the car. There was no way he was going to drive up the incline back on the parkway.Anyone know if its a forum member.....Sucks,but no way a vette should be out on a night like this.....................

That sucks, hope the guy is alright. These cars can take a pretty good inpact without and damage to the cockpit. Hope he was strapped in.

Yes but unfortunately, some seemingly minor impacts can "total" our cars since repairs are so costly. No wonder you find so many salvage titles for sale cheap.

But makes me wonder, I saw a C6 Z today, with 5in of snow on it's roof doing 15mph in a 45 zone, guy struggling to keep it on the road. If you're going to have such an expensive and beautiful car, at least have a beater to drive when it's hazardous out.

I dont think there was any damage to the car from what i could tell, like i said it was tough to see,but it looked like he lost control and skidded off the road.it didnt look like he made it to the tree line. But im sure a winch was needed to get the car up that steep incline.I guess hes not anyone on here ............................
