It would be nice to start up a little club/group down here in fairfield county. Im in Milford and it seems there is no one ever around. I dont know about everyone else but Im most interested in drives from like here to upstate where to meet some more people and hang out etc. Id like to gather a bunch of us together to take a ride to Redline Motor Sports in NY this summer in July. they are having a BIG car show with all vettes, vipers and crazy fuel injected cars. It is a AWESOME RIDE up there from here. Straight up route 8 and you grab I-90 all the way up. Lots of back country roads and I-90 is like WIDE open up there. Who would be interested in doing this or even just getting together somewhere local around here on like saturday nites or something to do cruises to the beach or wherever. It would be nice to see caravan of vettes cruisin around for some good old fun!

Been there many times. Its cool. Its nice. But I am looking to start something were we can meet once a week or maybe every 2 weeks hang out for alittle while like Heavenly and then take road trips places in caravans. I like driving rather than walking around looking. Dont mind some pr but then its time to ride. Thats me. Going in caravans on nice road trips is my thing. just cant find anyone at all around here.

Lets pick a spot in the middle we can meet how about monroe or newtown? Bills Drive in on 111? Anyone ever been to Chicks drive in in Westhaven? Thats were we used to hang out when I was younger. Long boardwalk, beautiful women, nice cars, great food and the beach. Whats better.

newtown monroe is very close prolly about 15 mins away so yes thats fine i like nice cars beautiful women and would be down for some good food. i mentioned this in a thread before but anybody down to go to GPNY for some go kart racing. these are serious go karts you guys will love this place.....meet up shoot the **** for a bit....drive down to bedford hills....about 20 mins from danbury.....race go karts grab some food down there and then drive back maybe even get some drinks anything you guys prefer im okay with me.....my Z is prolly going to be ready in a couple weeks....I had it out today for the first time since july and some lady backed into the thing so im pissed lol. tires are on !!!

Ok Good so it sounds like we are gathering a crew together. Nice!. Now lets narrow down the places. Here are my top picks lets narrow it down.

1) Chicks Drive in in West haven- right next to the beach. Boardwalk, tons of people walking down the boardwalk in the summer, popular place for muscle cars to stop by and AWESOME FOOD and benches to eat outside. Plenty of room to park.

2) Hooters- Milford- good parking lot. Right on Route 1 easy to get to. Lots of cool cars and bikes always around. As always Hooters and good food. Wed just have to coordinate I know one nite like every 3 weeks they have like Bike nite.

2) Bills Drive in- Monroe- right off 111. Crappy parking lot but BIG and close to Route 25 for those spirited ones that like to run.

What Id like to do to make this not just a car show. We meet up at one place wait till everyone gets there maybe grab a bite to eat and then have an agenda each day to take a ride somewhere as a caravan. Every week or two weeks whenever we meet we will have an agenda before meeting and know what the plans are. A different person can come up with our itinerary each week. Or we can have like 5 agendas and just rotate them every few weeks. Let me know your thoughts. I want to really get something going. To me car shows are cool but I can only stand to walk around for maybe 20 min or 30 min then I want to get in and drive. Thats the fun. We could make one nite a trip to berlin turnpike, one nite a trip to the beach things like that. Lets keep this going and make something out of it.

Yea if you wanted to get together somewhere in the middle and then drive down together to the go kart place that would be cool.

Ok. YEa if your not familiar with the Berlin Turnpike on a saturday nite you havent lived. its not as good as it used to be but there are easily 6-700 different cars cruising up and down there on a saturday nite like sharks looking for predators if you know what I mean. Theres car shows going on everthing you can imagine. ITs nuts. If you've never been definately worth the trip and its fun to drive up in a caravan and find somewhere we can all park and eat and hang out. Youll see.

Ok so Lets start the list. Lets plan on meeting at Hooters in milford and then driving up together to Hooters on the Berlin Turnpike. Meet Saturday evening at 630-7 pm. We will be leaving Milford at 7:30-7:45pm. Add you name to the list and what your bringing. If you want to invite friends too thats fine. Any non vettes then keep the requirment to 350 rwhp and up club. Lol. Vettes all shapes and sizes and horsepower allowed. Add you name to the list and keep it going.
