How did you install the air tube? The new one (VR-B2) has a 1" hole! I am told a standered PVC grommet will fit it, so I'll check that out today

I have a c5 a4 so the tube might be different but I just put the tube in the hole and pulled it slowly back out to make it snug. I had to fold the tube in half to get it in the hole.

Let me know what you can find, my grommet tore and I have tried locating a new one at Lowes and Home Depot.

I have mine laying in the hole right now like that too but I have the Calaway Honker, so the filter is before the hole. I don’t like that it is not an "air tight" seal and that some dirty air can get sucked in.

Save yourself some money, this is nothing that duct tape can't fix. Black duct tape is available.

Yea, find one on the Web and pay $5.00 s&h for a $.25 part. Did not look in the auto supply stores, just hardware. I was also looking for a 5/8 ID push on lock washer nut, or what ever you wan't to call it and can't find one in that size

YA! $5.00 S&H or an engine full of dirt . As for the push on lock washer thingie try a body shop or body shop supply . They use them all the time in body and fender repair , older cars use them to hold on trim
