they are the mallets but not with the mallet caps...they have the c5 logo instead...
The tires are 295 35 18
265 35 18
and the car is lowered as far as stock bolts allow in the front and i cut 2/3 of each of the 4 bushings in the back... guess i gotta do more. These tires feel great compared to the run craps...night and day and it greatly improved hte harshness of my suspension.
However, these wheels have been a huge headache since i ordered them december 27th...just received them Feb 12th
Nate has been cooperating with me trying to resolve the problem, but after the wait on the wheels mike works at xtreme motorsports assured me that he would hand inspect them before they went out... of course i get them and one of the wheels is half powder coated and half high polished...now its clearly visible! even ray charles could have felt the difference...i was amazed i could receive a wheel in that condition... so nate is sending me the chemicals and i am going to refinish the wheel myself... also they neglected to send me the locking lug nuts that i was supposed to receive (once again nate is sending them with the chemicals)
Also as i drove today at speeds greater then 65 MPH the car developed a violent shake the faster i went....tires must be rebalanced.   It turns out to be one headache after another :nonod: But to nates credit he is trying to resolve the situation to my satisfaction, but its amazing how many things can go wrong on one order...(i left half the blunders out)
Rob, that really sucks. I've ordered things from Nate before, and have never had a problem. I do know how he does business though, and I know he'll make it right. Strange for so many things to go wrong on such a simple thing like wheels and tires. Should be a no-brainer. I wonder if Nate had them drop-shipped from somewhere else? At any rate, they look good, and Nate will make things right. When are you heading down to D.C.?
