Not for me!!! If in fact those Officers did what was said, then shame on them. You wouldn't see me doing that. We get plenty of Drag Racers in Newark and I merely just tell them to pick up. But if they raced past us or commited a Motor Vehicle Violation, we wouldn't be able to chase them anyway.

I don't know what thier policy is, but some departments don't allow it because it can cause more accidents and endangers bystandards in heavily populated areas.
I was asked once, where do you prefer to race your vette the street or the track, I said when I race it will be on the track, why would anyone want to race on the street? They said it was for the risk... :rolleyes:
I dont know. I can say i go over the speed limit on occasion but never where i think its a real danger to anyone other then possibly myself. Save it for the track. Too bad they didnt put that nascar track in the meadowlands. that would have been nice.
