KERBECK - Used Inventory
Noticed over the last month or so that Kerbeck's used inventory on website was decreasing. Today, I checked and it is now at zero?
Any information out there or thoughts???

My friend owns a Chevy dealer and he has told me it's very hard finding / buying used cars at auctions now, they are getting a real high amount for them in which makes it hard to make a profit. His used car lot is very weak right now as well.

I heard from a friend that a person walked into a local chevy dealership and offered a 50,000 dollar check for a new z06 and the dealership took the offer. I myself think this is total bull$hit

I don't think Kerbeck buys used Vettes from auction. I was under the impression that their used vettes were from trade ins.
And w/ the crappy trade in values, most buyers of new vettes are probably selling privately.
Also, I was surprised to see that all their used vettes were gone.
Even the C4 Vert.

Don't panic here. I believe Kerbeck either moved all their prior owned vehicles or sold them off to wholesalers to make room for the vast number of NEW cars and trucks they bought from the General @ very good pricing. I've watched the hours of absolutely marvelous deals that they're giving on their huge stock of "acquired" GM '08,'09 cars and trucks that they have at both the dealership and warehouses within a couple of miles away. It's times like these that I wish I was in the market for a new car or two, but I'm not. Kerbeck is stronger financially than the Fed itself, not to worry, the Brothers are making this bankruptcy work in their favor.
