Is there a practical way to use radar avoiding material or paint on your car to avoid radar detection ? .......the kind police use to determine your speed.
Sorry....put this in the wrong section.

Jus' sayin'...
Nope. Radar absorptive materials would be completely legal. The issue with radar jammers, is that you are broadcasting a signal and that's in violation of FCC regs without a permit.
There are various methods that would allow the absorption of EM radar waves, none of which would be cheap, or could be done without severly impacting the look of the car. 2" of microwave foam stuck to the vettes body panels is not a good look.

Just recently I read that a C5 car with no front plate (and the pop up headlights in the down position) is very hard for Radar to see from the front profile. IE; Not a good reflector. The more bling you have on the car, the more reflectors.

Laser jamming is illegal in some states now by state law, but FCC (which is why radar jamming is illegal) has no power over it as it is light waves not radio waves.

cover the entire car in aluminum foil. that will reflect the radar right back at the cop and he will be reading his own speed which is zero cause hes just sitting in the bushes.

Thanks Ike! I'm off to the Dollar Store to buy $100 worth of foil.
