Is 295 finally being resurfaced by Cherry Hill, NJ?
Was driving up 295 after the watching the Eagles choke yesterday and noticed that one of the northbound lanes has been diverted to the southbound side. Wasn't really paying much attention. Anyone know if they finally resurfacing the highway? It needed it bad. I have probably experienced some of the worst "tramlining" in that section between the exits for Rt 30 and Berlin/Haddonfield Road - its been well overdue.
Was just curious if anyone knew if that was the case and how long it is expected to take.

Ohhh....is that what they call they are doingit's a mess!! The Haddon./Berlin rd exit dn to where it splits to go to the WW Bridge. If you are traveling in that direction, don't waste your time heading that way past 3pmespecially if it rains

Hey Barry, I also thought I saw that if you got diverted to the left, there is no warning that you cannot exit until the Rt 70 exit. If you need to get off at Woodcrest or Berlin/Hadd Rd, your screwed. Actualyl it might be the same for Rt 30. Just a friendly warning to those passing through there. If you need to exit at Rt 30, Woodcrest, or Berlin/Hadd Rd, stay right!

Another dumb project to waste taxpayer's money.
I was excited to see them work on 295 a few years ago, only to have them worthlessly extend the shoulder and not open up to 4 lanes.
And yes, I did get caught in the left lane. Luckilly, I wanted to exit at 70 and wasn't stuck otherwise I would have been pissed. No signs at all.

I thought the ruts in 295 were bad... I was driving on 42 right by Deptford mall (I think it was near the Clements Bridge Road overpass) and changed lanes in rolling traffic. My car scraped the bottom.

I have to drive through that crap every day home from work. What a cluster "F" this state has become with our traffic issues.
I wish that they would extend the 2 lanes from Rt. 55 northbound just past the Deptford Mall so that BOTH lanes merge into Rt 42. Whose brilliant engineering idea was it to bottle neck a major highway around a major shopping area?

I gave up on 295 altogether and just take the TP now. Just gotta be careful going through that industrial park that brings you from 42 to 168. It's a 25 mph zone for no reason that I can think of other than generating revenue.
