Anyone heard from Alex? Haven't seen a post from him in a while, haven't seen any of his well thought out/organized runs. Alex, if you read this, hope all is well.

I heard something about his car and a garage mishap but nothing concrete.. I dont have a valid email addy for him but I did try to call what I thought was his cell a few days ago..
I talked to Alex last week. I talked him and his wife Jess into meeting me for lunch sometime this week here on Long Island. If you miss Alex and all that he has done for us on this forum than I strongly suggest giving him a call and tell him. I'm sure he'll be glad to hear from you.

Can you pm a number, the one I have from 4 years ago isn't working. I know he had posted that he had a new blackberry about a year ago.

Alex
I still want to take the photo of my car for my avatar. I recently hurt my shoulder so I have to deal with the pain until I get an MRI. Actually, the next bright sunny day we can get it done, even today. I believe you have my cell number.
We miss you buddy that is all

Who needs him ! He's just a short little hispanic man that wants to build $200,000.00 homes in the $2,000,000,000.00 Westchester HOOD so he can move in on the cheap.
Who cares that we as a group have had verrrrrry few RUN'S this year because HE has gone missing? Who cares that the Bar has been around with out his input since I was born ?
Who cares that we haven't tossed a MIDGET in months or seen pictures of him with young fat ladies ?

I don't have his number but I did communicate with him by PM last week, he says he's not on the Forum too much right now. But you NY peeps who have his number, a call is always appreciated at times like these...

Although I've met Alex and his lovely Wife on occasion, I have to admit that somewhat because of logistics our paths haven't crossed as much as others in here. With his absence either in a coincidence (I'm guessin' that's it), or maybe because of this absence, the CFNE just hasn't been the same warm, fun place that it used to be. If the little guy has been abducted or deported or something whomever gets the hostage call with where to drop the $$$$$$ for his safe return to CFNE, send me a PM and I'll pass the hat around the trailer park. His postings, commentary, and general banter is certainly missed. The [Bar] has just become a place to Drink!
Alex? You're (not your) people miss you. Please come Home.
Wadda sport! How about some lint out of the bottom of your pocket??
Let's face it .... Alex is the glue that holds this bunch of loose nuts together.
I say we storm Queens and drag him back!
Sadly, I have to disagree with that - though Alex and his well planned events are missed, even HE couldn't hold this group together any longer. Everyone broke off in different directions for reasons much deeper than lack of events.

I got a few phone calls today saying there was a missing persons report out for me.
I've just been dealing with a lot of stuff lately, trying to keep my head above water. It seems when it rains it pours. I finally got my vette out of the garage last week after 3 weeks of it being stuck indoors after a plumber who forgot to set the parking brake on his truck plowed into the garage door where I keep the vette. It was a miracle the vette wasn't damaged, the other car in the garage wasn't so lucky. The garage door had to be ordered and it took 3 weeks to come in.
It's been a long and difficult 2009 for a lot of people on the forum, I wish things could have been different and we could have done as many events as we've done the last 6 years or so. Hopefully, 2010 will be a much better year. There's still TFT's to look foward to, Danny has been persuading me to start planning the Long Island Fall Foliage cruise as well, we've done one for the last 5 years straight. We'll see if we can squeeze that in.
