chimmney sweep
I have a fireplace that I put wood in, put a match to the wood, and use during the winter.
It's been a few years since I had my chimmney cleaned.
Have any of our Posse used a chimmney sweep that you would recommend. I want someone that knows what he is doing....is dependable...is reasonable.
Thax.

I don't, but call your local FD. They might do it for a donation.

Thax for the tips.
I called the fire dept. They don't do it nor would they recommend anyone.
I called Ted, he never returned my call. I don't do business with people that do not return calls, so he is out.
Thax again for responding.

What's the difference between a Yankee Stadium hotdog, and a Fenway Park hotdog?
You can buy a Yankee Stadium hotdog in October!

Funny how yankmee fans all of a sudden show up after 10 years or so......
A teacher asks her students if they're Yankees fans. All of the hands go up except for one student.
"Okay, Bobby. What team are you a fan of?"
"The Red Sox."
"Why's that?"
"Well, my parents are both Red Sox fans, so I'm a Red Sox fan too."
"That's not a good answer, Bobby. If your parents were both morons, would you be a moron too?"
"No, that would make me a Yankees fan!"

Yup, +1 for Dennis..used him in my old house in Middletown, and the current one last year.
Last year, he inspected it, said it did not need to be cleaned, I was all set.
Cost me 10 bucks and a cup of coffee.
Can't beat an honest businessman.

Nino;
I never compared prices for his services either.
My gut usually gives me good feedback if I am getting my monies worth and I always felt that with Dennis.
He is a fair guy. I don't think he is the cheapest around, but you will not get his level of service form the cheapest provider.
Hope it works out well for you.
Looking forward to seeing you and the Misses this weekend.
Lastly, thanks for calling off the nightly mooning! My levels of lunacy have subsided and life has become good again.
Jeff

Jeff, one of the things I tell my clients is..."cheap is expensive." This holds true for just about anything.....John Ruskin wrote: “There is scarcely anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse, and sell a little more cheaply. The person who buys on price alone is this man’s lawful prey." I believe this.
Glad the moon thing has somewhat subsided. Sometimes I get excited and overdo things.
See you Sunday.
