Default Back to the "Dark Side".....

Link below should work now.......

I'd heard, so many times during my ownership of C4s, "Once you get a C5, you'll never look back." To a point...I'd have to agree.

I didn't (look back) for about a year after I got my 2004 MSG Coupe...but then I really started to miss the whole C4 'experience'. Call me crazy...

I told myself, if you're gonna get another C4...make it 'special'. So, a ZR-1 it had to be.

My brother and I have tracked his 1990 ZR-1 all over the east coast (WGI, Pocono, VIR, Lime Rock, Summit Point... etc.) for about 4 years....and you just can't break these beasts. Just awesome on the track.

So, I figured if I got a low-miles 'garage queen'...I might just have a ZR-1 for a good long time.

I have welcomed a 1991 ZR-1 #318 into the family. Bone-stock, 37K miles, really like new. See the photos from the thread I started in the "ZR-1 Disscussion" Section, link below:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c4-z...dark-side.html

Glad to be part of the ZR-1 Brotherhood. Should be fun.

Rick

Good luck with ZR1. A friend recently sold his 1990 ZR1 and went to a 2004 vert. You're right, the ZR1's were awesome.

Congratulations on your ZR-1. You're not crazy going from a C5 to a C4, especially a ZR-1. I love my C5 but miss the sports car feel of the C4. I had considered a 90-95 ZR-1 but was a little concerned about the complexity of the motor and parts availability. You have a great support group of Z owners. Enjoy it

Unfortunately, Barry, I won't be at the show this year. I'll be sailing over to Baltimore with my brother....for our "9th Annual Baltimore Bar Cruise".
