Sigh! I sort of remember what it was like driving my c6 with my top down. As i recall it gives you are real rush doesn't it?
I don't know about tomorrow. The white stuff is piling up outside.
I will see how things are tomorrow morning around here. So far the white stuff is melting and I have no accumulation. But in certain parts of the state like your area there is accumulation. I will post around 8:30AM. May be time to put the babies away
Well my back driveway is frozen, my front one is not as bad, the trucks were in my street early this morning, and the area I was thinking to hit got 3 inches last night. Same as Torrington Tom. The roads unfortunately are not going to be good for our cruise even though cold the day is looking great now. Next time.
When I had my c5 I drove it occasionally in the winter. Since I bought this one new it will not be seeing any salt until I know I won't be keeping it. I don't want it to have the rusty look underneath like my other cars.
Nino, I typically take the insurance out after the first snow fall that includes sanding and put it back on March 1. However, if I need to take the '68, for example, for some work to Bolton during the winter then I drive it there. As a matter of fact, I probably take the '68 to the Corvette Connection and the '01 to ESP this winter. The cars will be off the road as of Monday most probably.

Nino; As long as I can get down and up my driveway, the vette will be ready. There's enough good, dry days in most winters to allow for maintenance drives. ( And they're as good as any drives..) I'll be out. Dave
yep, all my toys are off the road for the winter, the z06 and camaro a few weeks ago, the c5 was the last, drove it Friday night even just to get as much use as possible. Time to stop playing and get to work on the convertible project. Is it spring yet?? -Dan
