    Karma    I don't think anything has to be said, those ET's are insulting enough. What was it you said, drag racing is easy enough for a smart chimp to learn? Not as easy as you thought I guess.
Glad you are being a good sport about it though:D

They've already put their time in at the tree. Have any of them made claim after claim with the most arrogant of attitudes?

In all fairness to RobF, at Atco you can not go around the waterbox, so he spun bad. Lets see what he does at E-Town, then we can abuse him if he runs 14's with a 12.9 car!!!!

If this is "known" then why not spin em' enough to dry them off? Seems pretty common sense to me.

Default Missing the point.

Ummm people on street tires run their best times at Atco consistantly over Etown. Regardless, doesn't matter. If he hadn't talked smack about how easy drag racing is and how he was going to run 12's his first time out since it requires no talent, everyone would be supportive.
His own comments came back to bite him in the butt... he doesn't need you to defend him because he set himself up for this type of response.
I called this one BIG TIME so stop making excuses. I think it's great he finally got out there and ran down the track, now he finally sees that it isn't so easy. No one is making fun of the fact that he ran 14's, but the fact that he was the first one to say how a "smart chimp" could run down the 1/4 mile, and how cocky he was to say he would run 12's his first time out. And he wants to bust on c4's? Funny how the c4's here could serve him a real big slice of humble pie on the track.
So Robetti will go out and he will run a few more times and get the hang of it, and he will break into the 13's and eventually the 12's... and maybe he will EVENTUALLY give credit where credit is due and say that the 1/4 mile is not *that* easy

Because not everyone knows how to "break lock it" with a 6spd!

You mean you don't just drive in a straight line and run the same numbers as all the magazines? I don't understand, I thought drag racing was easy?:D
He must have been distracted by the "Pineys".:)

OK, I Started this ball busting thread just to poke at Robi. Main reason was his BIG talk about how easy drag racing is. NOW he knows it takes some skill and practice. :smash:
Seriously congrats on your first time at the track, it is fun isn't it!
And to the DEFENDERS of Robi, you guys give it a rest :smash: The comment he's a great high speed highway driver, man I hope we all are :D The comment about the water box, of course it was inexperience, now he knows, bet he does get into the 13s next time :yesnod:
It wasn't like I was pokin fun at something he has no control over, he set himself up for it.

"smart chimp could run down the 1/4 mile" ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!! He did set him self up for the abuse, LOL and your right Erin it did come back and bite him in the butt. I just think he was saying that his car is capable of running 12's when he was being cocky not so much that he can do it. Not for nothing in my opinion there is really nothing that complicated about doing the 1/4. Just have to deal with the traction and reaction stuff and basically drive the car like you stole it.

Street tires repel water, so when you spin the tires the water hits the wheel well. Then while you are in the staging area the water drips off the wheel well and back on the tire, therefore making less traction available. Remember what might be common sense for you, might not be for someone else...... ;)
