The Carlisle Comfort Suites, but good luck getting a reservation, it is usually booked right after it ends.

The Ramada on Carlisle Pike has rooms. I know, I just booked there. $125 a nite and 4 miles from the fairgrounds. Try this. www.choichotels.com or www.super8.com

The Holiday Inn in Mechanicsburg has rooms too, just not for Thursday and Friday.

If that's too much, and you don't mind a half hour drive, try the Super 8 in Chambersburg/Scotland on 81. Nice place, and rooms go for about $65 a nite.

By the way............I'd book soon.

We stayed here 2 years ago and were not impressed with the place at all (although many Corvette brothers and sisters DO stay there). We stayed at the Holiday Inn Harrisburg (in New Cumberland,Pa @ I-83 and the Pa TURNPK at exit 242) last year and will be staying there every year from now on. The Holiday Inn in Mechanicsburg is 12 miles from the fairgrounds, and the Holiday Inn in New Cumberland is 16 miles from the fairgrounds where again many Corvette brothers and sisters stay and is our pick of the two. I just reserved our rooms tonight and there are rooms available with a choice of options.

Try the Rodeway Inn in Carlisle. Good rooms at good rates. About 10 minutes from the Fairgounds

Do a google search for hotels/motels in Carlisle, Mechicsburg & Harrisburg. Most of the close in places immediatley in & around Carlisle got booked up last August right after the '09 event. What often happens is that in the week immediately preceeding, rooms free up as reservations made the year before are cancelled.

You can head south on Rt 81 (Exit 10 I believe) to the small college town of Shippensburg. There is a nice hotel in the small downtown called the Shippen Place Inn. Not even a half hour from Carlisle. Also a Best Western right off the exit.

Thanks guys for the info. I tried the Super 8 North. They had rooms but at 144.00 a night. I thought that was pretty high for a Super 8.

Motown (Ed) has arranged a pretty nice package there in years past which included some meals. It's also a chance to spend some time with people from CF, and put faces with the names.
He didn't put the package together this past summer, but maybe he will this coming year. We attended in 07 & 08 and had a great time. .
