You will be traveling up Rt 15 about 17 miles from me. We have had several snow storms this week but the roads are clear. You will have to watch for the finger lake effect snow storms that haunt the Buffalo, Rochester area portion of your journey. I live about 170 or so miles north of York in the Pa mountains. My Vette is normally parked in the garage from Nov-Apr unfortunately because of the snow, ice and salt. Enjoy your new Vette and the opportunity to drive it home. Stick to the main roads and you should be ok.
If you can, I'd recommend either putting a bra on the car or painter's blue tape due to the salt and cinders on our roads up here. I made a trip to New Jersey a month or so ago and the cinders really screwed up the paint on the nose of the car. In fact, as soon as spring breaks, it goes to the body shop for the nose to be repainted.
If I can be of any help to you let me know.
