Tonight FAgent1 is coming over with his new PorterCable buffer. Last week I washed the coupe at one of those UDOIT car washes and used the brush they had there. Put some nice scratches in the paint. If anyone wants to hang out I have a cooler full of beer and the garage will have heat. We are going to start around 7. Call me on my cell (610-766-1105) if you need directions
Wish I was closer....I definately make it....make sure you load that cooler on a Saturday....and I will be there ....dieing to see your garage!!!
Sorry to hear about the scratches in your good looking car. Hope the buffer takes them out with no problem. Sorry I can't join the gang in your new garage. Good luck!
C4suke, The porter cable random orbital took out 90% of them. Its a pretty good safe alternative to using a real buffer or wet sanding and buffing. Great tool for the novist.
BTW, she looked great in the sunlight yesterday
Now I just have to finish the sides and then do Rexy's Vert
Thanks again Frank
What compound did you use with the buffer? I have a cheap orbital buffer I got from nationwide wholesale liquidator once... I don't kno how good it would be.
