Default Ls1 drive train wanted

I'm doing a conversion on a car and want to buy a complete 6 spd drivetrain, with the wiring, brain, driveshaft, all accessoriesm etc.

Looking for a probably wrecked Z28, formula, trans am, GTO, etc.
I'll consider something already pulled, but it has to be 100% complete because I'll go broke picking up odds and ends.

If you come across anything, or know someone in the salvage business, would you please PM me with the info. I'm watching Craigs list and eBay, etc..

...it's going into a Volvo wagon, hope that doesn't upset anyone's sense of worth for the bow tie motor....

if this doesn't pan out I know someone who did a 2JZ (Supra twin turbo) motor swap into a Volvo wagon. It's sick!!!!! and he said it wasn't that bad of a swap. for doing something different.

Thanks for the thumbs up.
I've always wanted to do this.

I found the car while looking for a cheap saab or volvo for my son.
The car is, you have to have a like for volvo to understand, beautiful.

It's a top of the line car, with all the buttons, never hit, no repaint, a really cool and different very dark eggplant metalic. Cost me $250 for the caar, and it was only about an hour and a half away..

Now I'm going to put a $2500+ dollar engine and trans in it.
Must be nuts........

One of the best places to look is on the action site for seller "fparts".

They are an LSX specialized junkyard in Bristol, PA (just north of Philadelphia). They always have full drivetrains and rolling chassis on sale.

Sometimes thier prices are high, but you can deal with them.
